Carlo Giorgi is a journalist and editor of the Italian magazine" Terrasanta" (Holy Land), published by the Franciscan Custody of the Holy Land. He has traveled to the Middle East numerous times to report on the lives of local Christians, and edited a book on Pope Benedict XVI's recent visit to Jordan, Israel and the Palestinian Territories ("Messaggero di Riconciliazione, Ets, " 2009). An expert on immigration and social issues, he was director of the magazine "Terre di mezzo" and has contributed to many publications, including" Il Sole 24 Ore." He also edited a responsible tourism guide called "Vado in Senegal! "for" Terre di mezzo."
