Tony Lacey and Eleo Gordon have been editors at Penguin for seventy-one years. Tony has two grown-up children and a granddaughter and a grandson. These days he spends rather too much time playing with them than he does reading manuscripts. As a child Eleo Gordon spent most of her holidays with her grandparents. When she was eight, she was a passionate stamp collector and amateur archeologist.
