Gail Albert Halaban received an MFA in photography from Yale University, where she was mentored by Gregory Crewdson. She has taught at the School of Visual Arts and International Center of Photography, both in New York, and at Yale, among other notable institutions. She has been included in both group and solo exhibitions internationally. Her previous book, Out My Window, was published by powerhouse Books in 2012.
