Ian Andrew studied animation at the Royal College and Croydon College of Art, and illustration at Camberwell College of Arts and Crafts. He has worked for many clients on both animated work and book illustration. Ian illustrated the animated film Dolphins, which has been screened at a number of festivals including the London Film Festival and the Bristol Film Festival. In addition to producing artwork for the best-sellig Egyptology, Pirateology, Monsterology and Spyology, Ian also illustrated Water Boy, by Ros Asquith, and The Boat, written by Helen Ward, which was shortlisted for the 3005 Kate Greenaway Medal.
