Nancy Samalin founded Parent Guidance Workshops in 1976 after she discovered better ways of parenting her own two sons. She continues to give several, very popular workshops every year from her office on New York's Upper West Side. The workshops led to her bestselling books (see details below). She also speaks widely, having given over 500 keynotes and traveling seminars in the past two decades, writes frequent articles for the top parenting magazines, and appears regularly on national media, including the Today Show, Good Morning America, 20/20, CBS This Morning, and CNN.
