The NSCA Certification Commission was established in 1985 as the certification arm of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) to create a certification programme for those in the field of strength training and conditioning Today, more than 31,000 CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials are held by professionals around the world. Both certifications are international in scope. Each year, the NSCA Certification Commission offers both examinations at more than 200 sites throughout the United States, Canada and the UK.
