This is his story about developing Doctor Who from concept to screen. Gary Russell is a freelance writer, former editor of Panini's Doctor Who Magazine and author of eight Doctor Who novels, including the novelisation of the film. He has a screenplay about to start shooting in the US, and he runs an audio production company, Big Finish.
