Rob Goss first went to Japan in 1999 to teach English for a year, but he ended up staying. He is now a full-time writer of Japan-related features and travel pieces for magazines ranging from Time and National Geographic Traveler to publishers from Fodors and Rough Guides to Tuttle Publishing. He lives in Tokyo with his wife and child and frequently travels around Japan.
