After the success of his first book, Lonely Planet Brazil, Thomas Kohnstamm became one of Lonely Planet's most sought-after writers. He spent the next two-and-a-half years on the road and has been involved with almost every one of their Latin American books in some capacity. Thomas has been interviewed by The New York Times and written travel articles for The Miami Herald, Los Angeles Times, San Francisco Chronicle and The Denver Post. He currently lives in Seattle.
