Karen McCombie is the author of the hugely popular Ally's World and Stella Etc. series. Born in Aberdeen, she now lives in London. Lydia Monks is an acclaimed illustrator and won the Smarties Book Prize for her picture book I Wish I Were a Dog. She lives in Sheffield.
