Geomorphology in Environmental Management: An Introduction R. U. Cooke
This textbook introduces students to practical geomorphological problems in environmental management. Particular attention is paid to the nature and management of geomorphological processes, including weathering, soil erosion by wind and water, river action and flooding, landsliding, subsidence, permafrost, and coastal processes. In seperate studies of each of these groups of processes a discussion of the structure and operation of the geomorphological system is accompanied by an examination of selected aspects of its management.
