Manual of Perioperative Care in Cardiac Surgery Robert M. Bojar
In an effort to keep the size of the third edition of this hugely successful book manageable and concise, sections on thoracic surgery have been omitted and the revision is devoted to cardiac surgery alone. In addition to cutting and condensing, the material will be updated to reflect advances in equipment (circulatory assist devices, pacemakers, etc) procedures (balloon counterpulsation, shunting, etc.), and drug therapies, including the newest class of beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, and antiarrhythmia drugs.
