is the vice-director of the Netherlands Instititute for Social Research/SCP.

Arjen Verweij

is a sociologic economist. For almost fifteen years, he conducted research at the department of economics of the Erasmus University Rotterdam and published on identification and classification of ethnic minorities, their integration in the Netherlands, on quality of place and on the methodology of applied social research (monitoring). Currently, he is a research advisor at the Ministry of the Interior on the topics of housing, integration, neighborhoods, and communities.
