Alison Jesson's first novel, The Mind's Garden, was published by Matador in 2012 and was very well received. She has also had poems published in leading poetry magazines, and was shortlisted for the Hamish Canham poetry prize in 2006. Having previously worked as a psychotherapist she is now retired.
