Craig Mair lives and works in Stirling where he teaches history. He has written numerous books, among them several on aspects of Scottish burgh history, including a history of the Incorporation of Glasgow Maltmen. He plays guitar and bodhran in a busy ceilidh band, and his other interests include photography, castles and rugby.
