David Vodden became Head of History at West Midlands College, Walsall in 1970 and has lived in Walsall since 1972. Fascinated by local history, he is currently a member of several important societies, including the Black Country Society and Friends of Black Country Museum, as well as being vice chairman of the Civic Society and former president of Rotary. David is an enthusiastic photographer and traveler, with a keen interest in visiting historical and archaeological sites.
