Luciano Parolari, the 'King of Risotto,' has been executive chef at Villa d Este for over thirty years, where he oversees the kitchen staff while also directing the resort's renowned cooking school. He has served as a guest chef and demonstrator at such institutions as the Ritz-Carlton, United Nations, and the James Beard House. He lives in Cernobbio, Italy. Mitchell Davis is the Director of Communications for the James Beard House in New York City.
