Prior to this role he was General Director of the Evangelical Alliance UK for 11 years, was chair of Micah Challenge Board for four years before being invited to become its director. Joel is committed to harmonise matters of faith, justice and equality in the public square, and to advocate on behalf of the world's poor. He is honorary Canon of St. Paul's Cathedral, London.
