Über Julie Kistler

A former lawyer, Julie Kistler left the legal world in 1985 to start a full-time writing career. She wrote over fifteen books for Harlequin American before moving on to write for Love & Laughter, Duets and Temptation. She's a two time Golden Heart finalist and was also nominated for a RITA for BLACK JACK BROGAN. She's also received awards from ROMANTIC TIMES and AFFAIRE DE COEUR. She's currently a finalist for the Madcap Award for Best Romantic Comedy of 2000 for JUST A LITTLE FLING. She has also received a service award from RWA, where she was a board member. She has also served as president of Novelists Inc. She's written over twenty-five books to date. Her style has always been romantic comedy, often inspired by old movies. She loves plots and characters who are funny, contemporary, sexy and a little off-kilter.
