Neil Palmer is the author behind the DERBY DAYS series of books.To date he has written about the Bristol Derby between Bristol City and Bristol Rovers and the South Wales Derby between Cardiff City and Swansea City .He has also Ghost written Bristol Rovers legend Paul Randalls autobiography Punky .He also is a regular contributor to Football website Footie online . A huge Football fan Neil lives in Bristol with his wife and two grown up children and he has been a Cardiff City fan since his first ever visit to Ninian Park in 1969 ,a 6-0 victory for Cardiff against Hull City so its easy to see what sparked his love affair with the Bluebirds
