We think of the Greeks and Romans as crucially important to the modern world, while we romantically see the Celts as a people living on the fringes in Ireland, Wales, Cornwall Scotland and France, faced with extinction. In this extraordinary new book, acclaimed historian Simon Young overhauls that preconception.
