Children are Naughty Zusammenfassung

Children are Naughty Vincent Cuvellier

Children and their parents will find themselves nodding in agreement to this delightful picture book from acclaimed French storytellers Vincent Cuvellier and Aurelie Gullerey. After all, didn't we all have those moments where we just don't feel like being nice? Maybe it was when we pulled our sisters hair (she bit us first, after all), or maybe it was when swinging from the chandelier just made the most sense. Sometimes, being a little bit naughty was more fun than the alternatives!

Children are Naughty Bewertungen

Young readers and listeners will grow dizzy from shaking their heads in mock dismay.-Kirkus Reviews This has been a fantastic book to add to our little library! It teaches a lesson that kids desperately need to learn and parents need help teaching! And my older kids also love it and love copying the illustrations. As you can see for yourselves, the illustrations are out-of-this-world incredible! For parents of small children, this one's a must.-Sundry Mumsy The illustration makes it funny as does the dry humour of the text.-Back To Books Here is one book able to make both adults and children laugh, as well as reflect on their own behaviour. It's a cleverly subtle tale of the relationship between adult and child, and the continuing struggle for power. It's rare to see children in such violent acts of fighting and tantrum throwing within picture books, but it makes a refreshingly honest change. Children Are Naughty is a charming portrayal of miscreant behaviour, so charming in fact, it perhaps explains why parents let children get away with so much.-The Illustrated Forest With a crazy chaotic story style, and visuals to match in that gorgeous -retro fantastic- illustration style so beloved of artists like Bob Staake and Chris Hitchins, -Children are Naughty- by Vincent Cuvellier and Aurelie Guillerey is a stark fire-engine-red warning tome designed to keep adults aware of just how naughty kids are... Loved this, it's energetic and fun!-Read It Daddy I love the illustrations in this story. The style of the artwork is wonderful - quite retro, with very simply-drawn characters who somehow manage to embody an enormous range of emotions and naughtiness. The lively colours make this a fun read, and I personally like just looking at all the pictures, even without the story. But then I like to read the words too because it's an escalating tale of the naughtiness that children can get up to, full of noisy, shouting children, those who won't share, those who bite, those who play the piano with their bottoms! Dear me, it's probably the sort of book you should give to expectant parents, just to prepare them for the horrors that are yet to come!-The Book Bag
