Bernard Black, previously owned art galleries in New York, Monte Carlo and London and specialised for over 25 years in European sculpture of the 17th to 19th centuries. He is known in Europe and the United States for a high standard of scholarship and their time is now almost entirely devoted to art historical research and writing.
