Dennis Blanton is an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at James Madison Univeristy. Previously, he was the curator of Native American archaeology at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and the president of The Society for Georgia Archaeology. He is also the co-editor of Indian and European Contact in Context: The Middle Atlantic Region (Florida, 2004).
