Ed Sherman is a marine surveyor and technician. He was instrumental in drafting the ABYC's standards for electrical installations on boats, and he runs training courses for marine professionals. The author of five nautical books, he also writes for Professional Boatbuilder, Cruising World, Boating, and other nautical magazines.
