Elissa Altman is an award-winning food writer, a contributor to Saveur and Huffington Post, a restaurant critic and founder of the critically-acclaimed blog Poor Man's Feast, which champions parsimonious dining and chronicles the cultural love-hate relationship that we have with it. Altman is also the author of Big Food (Rodale, 2005), and spent twelve years in senior editorial positions at HarperCollins and Clarkson Potter, among other houses.
