HELIO HIGUCHI hails from Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he was born in 1953. A hotel manager, he has degrees in Architecture and Urban Design and Marketing. He is the author of A Servico do Generalissimo - Os Pilotos Brasileiros na Republica Dominicana (In the Service of the Generalissimo - Brazilian Pilots in the Dominican Republic, 2014) PAULO ROBERTO BASTOS JR was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1969 and now lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. An automation engineer, he is a researcher of history and military technology, particularly mechanised forces in Latin America and the Caribbean, and an editor of the Brazilian periodical Tecnologia e Defesa.
