Books by Mark Lejk

Mark Lejk was born in Sussex in 1952. He moved to Whitley Bay with his family in 1982 and has lived there ever since. He regards the North-East as his spiritual home. He discovered walking quite late in life as an escape from the sometimes pressured world of computing in which he worked as a university lecturer. He soon became enchanted by the beauty and history of the area, and Northumberland in particular. He walks regularly either on his own or as part of a walking group which he helped to found.
