Milena Agus is a bestselling Italian writer. The author of nine novels, Agus is the recipient of several literary awards, including the prestigious Zerilli-Marimo prize in New York. Her work has been translated into over twenty languages. 'While the Shark is Sleeping' is her first novel. She lives in Cagliari, Sardinia. Brigid Maher teaches Italian language, literature and translation at La Trobe University. Her translations include 'Riportando tutto a casa' by Nicola Lagioia. She lives in Melbourne, Australia.
