* Remy Charlip was named a "national treasure" by the Library of Congress in a major exhibition, A Celebration of Remy Charlip. * Remy's artwork has been featured at the Lincoln Center Library in New York; The Remy Charlip Library in Delaware; the San Francisco Library in a retrospective, Remy Charlip's World; and at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, where he was named artist-in-residence. He has won three New York Times "10 Best Illustrated Book of the Year" awards, 11 National Endowment of the Arts grants, and the San Francisco Bay Guardian's "Lifetime Achievement" award.
