Books by Roger Lawson

About the Author Roger Lawson obtained a first degree in production engineering and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Cranfield Business School. He started his working career as a programmer on IBM mainframe systems, moving on to consulting in software houses followed by some years as the IT Director of a major retailer in the UK. He then set up a software company called Proactive Systems (before "proactive" became an overused word) which sold system utility products. Thereafter he made a number of "business angel" investments in start-up and early stage businesses as well as acted as a non-executive director in such businesses. He currently runs his own management consulting firm and manages a large portfolio of quoted companies. He has been a director of both ShareSoc and UKSA, two organisations which represent the interests of private shareholders and has a particular interest in shareholder rights, investor education and stock market regulation on which he has written extensively. His previous books include "Beware the Zombies: How to Manage a High-Tech Business" - A book of practical ideas for solving day to day business problems in high technology companies.
