He is the author of biographies of personalities ranging from Rolf Harris to Ricky Gervais, has interviewed personalities from Dolly Parton to George Best and has written for numerous magazines including the Radio Times and the Mail on Sunday colour supplement. He is also the father of three children, now in their teens and twenties.
