Wilfred McSherry is Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Social Care at The University of Hull. He is also a Registered General Nurse and Nurse Teacher. His doctoral thesis was on Aca'E The Meaning of Spirituality and Spiritual Care: An Investigation of Health Care Professionals', Patients' and the Public's Perceptions.' McSherry has published widely on the subject of spirituality and health care in a number of different journals. Stephen Pattison is Head of School at Cardiff University's School of Religious and Theological Studies, and has previously lectured in theology at the University of Birmingham and University of Edinburgh, among others, and in health and social welfare at the Open University. He is a prolific author of articles and books on the subject of practical theology.
