Catching Memories Summary

Catching Memories by Jerry Hammond

This a frank revelation of the authors triumphs and disasters using his ability to tell a story. The reader will find a real insight into Jerry's sense of humour and love of a practical joke especially in the guest chapters by his best friends. Whilst not an autobiography it is a collection of remarkable carp stories written in true Hammond style, touching on his 7 years enlisted in the Queen's Regiment and his motion picture film work.

About Jerry Hammond

Jerry Hammond began his fishing career as a 12 year old at Hainault Park Lake. In 1981 he joined the army in the Queen's Regiment. Seven years later he left to avoid married life, with Joanne, in the army. This led to Jerry's heavy involvement in Carp fishing. He continues to spend some time working in the film and television industry and also spends time now as a Fishery Manager running his own carp waters and stretch of river that runs around the lock house he calls home.
