Mao escapes from Garama Biological institute by completely destroying the building. Two groups were sent by the government to find and capture Mao who are infected by the Arm of Senjuu Kan-non. One is the special force unit of SDF (Japan Self-Defense Force) and the other is a mysterious group called Manma-shu (ten thousand demons). The SDF soldiers, Manma-shu and Ryo Kanmu from Isurugi Temple are all eager to capture Mao first. They battle with each other, competing for the Arm of Senjuu Kan-non who resides in Mao. In a mean while, Mao and Mayo are sheltered by a mysterious old man who lives in Aokigahara Jukai (sea of trees located at the foot of Mt. Fuji). Mao has been unconscious since he and Mayo escaped from Garama and came to Aokigahara Jukai.
