Intraoperative and Laparoscopic Ultrasonography by OJ Garden (Ascot UK)
This book is intended to inform surgeons and their radiology colleagues in the use of ultrasound imaging in the operating room. It is intended to be a practical guide which will enable the clinician and nurse to understand the basic principles of ultrasound and to demonstrate its possible applications in the assessment of common intra-abdominal benign and malignant disease. It is intended that the text be aimed at general surgical practice and, for this reason, it has been elected not to describe its application in neurosurgery and vascular surgery, where the specialist use of doppler ultrasound plays an important role.
