While building the Giant's Causeway from Ireland to Scotland, Finn MacCoul finds himself in a spot of bother with a Scottish giant, Cucullin, who's a terrible bully. Finn is terrified, but his clever wife, Oonagh, comes up with a cunning plan to save the day and put Cucullin back in his place.

Robert Byrd is a successful commercial artist and children's book illustrator in the US. He has won two awards for two of his picture books: The Bear and the Bird King (Smithsonian Best Books for Children) and The Little Swineherd (second place for illustrated fiction at the New York Book Show).
