Books by Angus Mansfield

Angus Mansfield has long been a military aviation enthusiast, but a particular interest was sparked by his late grandfather's flying log book which was passed to him by his grandmother. It was the inspiration for his book Barney Barnfather: Life on a Spitfire Squadron, when then led to his meeting Rodney Scrase, a pilot who had flown with his grandfather during the Second World War and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. Their subsequent interviews form the basis of this book. Angus is married to Sue, with whom he has two children, Charlotte and Thomas. He lives in Bristol.
