Cynthia Rutledge, Beadwork Magazine's 2011 Designer of the Year, is a contemporary bead artist and teacher who specializes in peyote stitch and off-loom weaving techniques. Her elegant work, which radiates magnificent colour, has been exhibited in national and international shows and has appeared in many magazines and books. She lives with her husband in Southern California.
