Jackum Brown researches and writes on a variety of subjects, often inspired by her travels in North America, Canada, Africa and the Far East. Jackum is the author of several book on topics as diverse as Thai cookery and Groucho Marx, and she is also a much-respected photographer and picture editor. Jackum lives with her husband, also a writer, in a converted chapel in Suffolk, the home of much-admired lighthouses
