K. S. Horak is a British author and entrepreneur based in the middle part of England living close to the Welsh border. He worked as a front line Close Protection operative for over 20 years and ran his own successful bodyguarding business for over 17 years achieving considerable recognition domestically and internationally. He was responsible for some hundreds of private sector security operations including working with Royal families, the corporate sector, the entertainment business and working with grade 'A' celebrities. He made the decision in early 2016 that he wished to step back from the Close/Executive Protection business to focus upon writing and his other business interests, however he still consults for 4 top end specialist security companies. He has written two versions of his Close Protection book 'The New Bodyguard' that has sold worldwide and two comedy books. Mildred The Crazy Cat Lady is his first work of fiction. www.kshorak.com
