Having read English at Exeter University, Lynda changed direction completely and was called to the bar in the early 1980's. A higher law, however, proved an even stronger call and she subse quently entered the ministry. Trained at Wycliffe Hall, Oxford, she specialised in Broadcasting and 'communication', which led to a stint working for the BBC. Lynda was among the first women to be deaconed in 1987 and then priested in 1994. As part of her writing career Lynda writes for both the religious and general markets. Books analysing the Christian tradition include; 'No Other Gods' (a study in meditation, Hodder & Stoughton 1990), and 'The Devil and the Sovereignty of God' (Kingsway 1995). Other novels include; 'KingdomCome', 'Heaven's Door' (Headline 1996 and 1998).
