After a near-fatal car crash, Maureen Farenden decided to change the direction of her life and to pursue her dream of becoming a writer. She also began to develop an interest in the mantic arts and, particularly, the ancient art of tarot. After working for a number of years as a librarian she is now an office manager for a charitable trust and a semi-professional tarot practitioner.
