Pamela Traynor grew up in Sydney, was an award-winning actor (in her former life), spent several years in London (as a casting director for ATV and the BBC), travelled and worked in Europe and America in the 1970s and returned to Australia to work as a documentary filmmaker. Her documentaries and telefeatures have been screened both in Australia and overseas. Until recently she worked as Executive Producer for ABC-TV where her documentaries included Without Consent and Sylvania Waters. She has now returned to freelance producing and directing.
