Sarah Annese began her writing career as a reporter at the historic Brooklyn Eagle newspaper. She and her husband Giancarlo founded the New York City-based beer news website www.BeerUnion.com in 2009, and she is now a freelance writer specializing in beer and spirits. Sarah has contributed to Beverage World Magazine, All About Beer Magazine and AlcoholProfessor.com. Giancarlo Annese studied Classics and History at Union College and earned an M.A. in Medieval History at Fordham University. He founded www.BeerUnion.com in 2009 with his wife Sarah, a website where they explore and write about craft beer culture in New York City. He works as a financial aid administrator at a university in New York City.
