Summary

In response to Sultan Bayazid I's besieging of Constantinople in 1391, the last home of the once great Byzantine Empire, Pope Boniface IX preached a Crusade. A French-led army of 10,000 marched to the city but met their match against the Sultan's cavalry. This volume describes the battle.
