Edward Burn is a Barrister and Honorary Bencher of Lincoln's Inn, Emeritus Student of Christ Church, Oxford, and formerly Professor of Law at the City University. He is also the author of Cheshire and Burn's Modern Law of Real Property and Maudsley and Burn's Trusts and Trustees Cases and Materials. John Cartwright is a Solicitor, Student and Tutor in Law at Christ Church, Oxford, Professor of the Law of Contract at the University of Oxford, and Professor of Anglo-American Private Law at the University of Leiden. He is also the author of Cheshire and Burn's Modern Law of Real Property.
