About Ellen Gunning

Ellen Gunning MA, MIAPR, MPRII, NUJ, is the founder-director of the Irish Academy of Public Relations, the largest provider of PR education in Ireland. She has 20 years' experience as a PR practitioner. She is a former national examiner (PR Theory) of the Institute's Diploma in Public Relations. She lectures to Academy students in Dublin, Cork and Galway. She is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII), the National Union of Journalists (NUJ), European Federation of Public Relations Practitioners (CERP) and the International Public Relations Association (IPRA).
