About Humphrey Jennings

Humphrey Jennings was an award-winning wartime film director who was also a poet, literary critic and a dab hand at painting. he was also the founder of the domestic anthropological movement of Mass Observation and he assembled an anthology of writings about the machine age, 'Pandaemonium'.
