Seth Godin is the author of The Smiley Dictionary and Point and Click Internet: Instant Access for Everyone.
Seth has produced more than 75 books, including E-Mail Addresses of the Rich and Famous (Addison Wesley) and The Internet White Pages (IDG). Seth designed his first online game in 1976. In 1991 his GUTS game went live on Prodigy, and soon became the most popular online game. Seth has an MBA in marketing from Stanford Business School, a degree in Computer Science from Tufts University and more than 18 years experience using computer networks. He runs Seth Godin Productions, Inc., a book packager in Dobbs Ferry, New York.
Seth Godin also is a Professor of Emoticons at the Advanced Institute for Non Verbal Communication, a government sponsored think tank located in Mt. Vernon, New York. Dr. Godin was hailed for his breakthrough research, "The Role of Emoticons in the TriplePHazelton Recognition Response, as Analyzed Using Sigma Chromatography." As the nation's leading authority on smileys, Dr. Godin has appeared before Congressional panels, as well as spending more than half an hour on the Oprah Winfrey show.
